Auction Software

The Knights of Columbus from St. Daniel’s Church in Wheaton, Illinois run a silent auction every year to raise money for families that are down on their luck. Up until recently, they managed their auction with simple Excel documents. With hundreds of people attending and thousands of dollars being auctioned off, a simple Excel document can get way out of control. I was able to supply them with a custom built web application that allowed them to manage each auctioned item in a controlled manner. With a centralized application available throughout the church, the Knights of Columbus were able to handle the large number of bidders with ease. And with the reports included in the application, they were able to reconcile immediately after the event.
